Getting Ready

Paperwork...

and then waiting to know if we passed muster.

we are older than the Chinese like...they want people definitely under 70 (allen turns 70 in December), and they like them even better under 65.

Then, the word came...BYU agreed we could go. Now, it was up to the Chinese Unversity...more wait time,

But, in the meantime, get:

SHOTS...lots of shots...expensive shots!
VISA applications...expensive!
New Passport...expensive!
NEW Laptop computers...expensive!
New walking shoes...expensive!
New jitters, anxieties, fears, worries, concerns, questions....not hard on the checkbook, but hard on the psyche!

And, then the letter....they wanted us!

Should we be happy, relieved, or even more terrified?!?!?!
